  2. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Got it in four. Frozen peas make a great ice-pack.

  4. Hope you heal soon! Also, how does “vicodin” fit into that acronym…?

  5. I am resisting – lord, how I am resisting – the temptation to say something snarky like “That’s what you get for jumping to conclusions.”

And yet again I fail. I can never resist a cheap gag, however inappropriate (as it is here).

Limping around painfully (with a cane! Borrowed from my parents….) has given me a new appreciation for how grumpy House is. Also, I am eating ibuprofin.

Dr Ngo: I am resisting – lord, how I am resisting – the temptation to say something snarky like “That’s what you get for jumping to conclusions.”

    *snickers* I didn’t jump! I took a step, and there conclusions were…

I expensively-giftwrap my cheap shots, so they look like they’re worth more.

Spherical Time: Hope you feel better?

I do, actually, though am still limping. 48 hours, the nurse practicioner said. Nothing broken – it was x-rayed just a couple of hours after it happened.
